Meet Your Coach

Let me introduce myself to you...

 Nancy Southern

For as long as I can remember, I have loved the great mystery some call God, Allah, Spirit, Divine Mystery, or Universal Field. I also am moved deeply by beauty in nature. As a child I believed life was meant to be lived singing and dancing. In spite of surviving a traumatic near-death experience at age 41⁄2, I’ve always been a dreamer, an artist and a woman who loves having fun and making others smile or laugh.

I have Master Teachers, guides and angels I turn to when things get scary or painful. I hug trees, see images in clouds and talk to flowers, birds and animals as well as my Divine Team.

As an adult, I struggled with finding my place in the world of job/career, even with two degrees: BFA (Bachelors in Fine Arts, Textile Design in Weaving) and a graduate degree, MSW (Masters in Social Work, Mental Health Education and Psychotherapy). Neither of which was a good fit for who I am inside.

So, I began to follow my heart instead of my head. Although I felt criticized for my choices by my well-meaning family and friends, and often I was living on the edge, nevertheless, I knew it was my path, my Road Less Traveled.

2016 Self PhotoIn 2002, I also experienced a remarkable healing regarding my near-death experience using alternative energy medicine including meridian tapping. It was five yeas later before I was trained in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and began integrating it into my coaching practice. It has been one of the most empowering and transformational tools I have had the opportunity to share with my students and clients. It has helped me to realize one of my missions in life which is to help relieve suffering in others and empower them to care more genuinely for themselves.

Another turning point came in 2017. After struggling with serious health challenges and deepening depression that went undiagnosed and marginally treated effectively for years, I was introduced to Cannabis as a possible aid for turning my auto-immune condition around. Within three days of exploring the use and dosage of cannabis oil, my depression shifted significantly and now over 7 months later, I am a completely different person. I immediately knew I wanted to share this information with my fellow Baby Boomers.

By August 2017, I discovered Center the Center for Mindful (for Cannabis) and began to develop programming and discussion group opportunities for the over 55 population. By October, I was hired as a part-time receptionist for Satori, a one-of-a-kind marijuana retail store. The response from the customers upon seeing me there has reassured me that I am in the right place at the right time. I’m learning online and among my fellow employees as much as I can about the health supporting ways to use cannabis without necessarily having to experience the psychotropic side effects.

In 2018, I began training to become a state certified Medical Marijuana Consultant in Washington. I am fully aligned with the addition of educating others about cannabis to my role as a Creative Life Coach. I love that I am able to encourage and inspire others to follow their unique calling in ways that fulfill and enrich them spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically.

Over the years of discovery, I am fully aligned with a vocation that fits me inside and out. I love knowing and trusting that I am able to encourage and inspire others to follow their unique calling in ways that fulfill and enrich them.
